DOUG PARKINSON has enjoyed a long and remarkably varied career in the Australian
music industry and is regarded as one of Australia's finest vocalists, a "singer's
singer" who is one of the truly great soul/R&B vocalists of our time. More importantly
Doug Parkinson owns the run of the Big Bopper from the inaugural Buddy the Musical
stage show wowing audiences across Australia and New Zealand. His deep, resonant,
smoky baritone voice is operatic in its power, yet possesses a range and subtlety
that few others can match. His sound is instantly recognizable and unmistakable,
yet his great versatility enables him to be equally at home in almost every popular
genre including soul, R&B, pop, psychedelia, heavy rock, jazz, swing and musicals.
Added to his vocal prowess is an imposing stage presence (including his trademark
"Lucifer" beard) and a solid acting ability.

Also starring DONNY EDWARDS, the most sought after Elvis Tribute
Artist in the world. He performs in casinos, theaters, and at corporate events
throughout the U.S. and internationally. Donny's television performances include:
ABC's Monday Night Football, MTV's Viva La Bam, The Young & The Restless on CBS,
ABC's "The Next Best Thing", and the Kingsmill ads in the U.K. Recently, Donny
was awarded the top Elvis tribute artist in the world by two different organizations.
Donny's ability to re-enact each era of Elvis Presley's life and career
will take you back to the 1950's and the early years of rock n' roll. He'll get
you "All Shook Up" on a ride through the 1960's with songs from Elvis' biggest
hit movies and the historical black leather '68 Comeback Special. Donny also creates
some of Elvis Presley's greatest performances, those of the legendary Vegas years
of the 70's. These are what made Elvis the one and only "King of Rock n' Roll".
Donny maintains a performance of incredible authenticity. His humility,
charm, and southern manner coupled with his uncanny sound and appearance will
make you feel as if you are watching the King himself.

starring SCOTT CAMERON as Buddy Holly. Rock music again surged to popularity
in 1957 with the classics of Buddy Holly and the Crickets. Introducing SCOTT CAMERON
who first played the role of Buddy in 2005 on the Gold Coast before continuing
to portray him for the next 3 years in the stage show, "Memories Of Buddy Holly".
Scott Cameron is the number one Buddy Holly performer in arguelably in the world
having this year performed in the national hit musical The Buddy Holly Story.
Scott's passion for Buddy Holly is evident within a minute of speaking to him.
"It's amazing that in such a short time, Buddy wrote so many top 40 hits" says
Cameron. "The thing I love the most about playing Buddy Holly is when someone
my age says to me, you made me go out and buy Buddy's CDs and now I love him.
Or seeing someone cry as they remember having their first kiss to a Holly song,
it makes you realise you're keeping alive a legacy and just being a part of that
legacy in some small way makes everything worthwhile".
Be amazed and
get ready to rock your way back to the Fifties at the end of the night you will
be shaked rattled and rolled as the Big Bopper, Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly
re-ignite rock n roll as it should be.
